DMS TROJANS OF THE WEEK | AUGUST 31–SEPTEMBER 4
Dyersburg Middle School is proud to introduce our Trojans of the Week for August 31–September 4! Each week, DMS recognizes students who are making a positive impact through their character, leadership, hard work, and commitment to being great Trojans.
6TH GRADE | PAISLEE
This student is an absolute joy to have in class! She comes to class each day ready to learn and consistently does everything that is asked of her. She works hard, stays on task, completes her assignments, and always gives her best effort. She is respectful, responsible, dependable, and sets a wonderful example for those around her. Her positive attitude and strong work ethic do not go unnoticed.
We are truly blessed to have her as part of our 6C family, and we are so thankful we get the opportunity to teach her this year. She makes our classroom a better place just by being a part of it!
As Maya Angelou once said, “Nothing can dim the light which shines from within.” This student certainly lets her light shine each and every day.

7TH GRADE | BO
Team 7C's Trojan of the Week is Bo, an exceptional young man who embodies excellence in every aspect of his academic classes and extracurricular activities. Characterized by an outstanding work ethic, Bo is a dependable, independent worker who consistently goes above and beyond what is expected of him. As the 7th grade president of the Beta Club, he demonstrates strong leadership and initiative.
Bo's drive extends to athletics as well, where he actively competes on both the basketball and tennis teams. On the court, he brings the same determination, focus, and sportsmanship that define his character in the classroom. Whether working on an assignment, practicing with his team, or engaging in school activities, Bo remains remarkably on task and self-motivated.
Equally commendable is his eagerness to serve others; he is always among the first to step up and lend a helping hand whenever a teacher or classmate needs assistance. Bo is a role model for his peers and a true asset to our school community, and we are so proud to have him on our team.
8TH GRADE | JUSTLYNN
8th grade Trojan of the Week is Justlynn. Justlynn is kind to everyone and always makes sure others feel included and welcome. She is a hardworking student who puts her best effort into everything she does. Justlynn is also incredibly creative and is a talented artist who loves to draw. We are so proud of the kindness, creativity, and hard work she brings to our school each day!
